Mark moved to Bexhill from Surrey with his partner Jean just before Lockdown and has since got involved in local life. He is a committed Trade Unionist, involved in the setting up of the new Bexhill and Battle Trades Union Council. Mark was elected as Rother District councillor for Bexhill Old Town and Worsham in May 2023.
