Gareth is the Rother District Councillor for Bexhill Pebsham and St Michaels Ward, first elected in May 2023. Gareth works for the charity Change, Grow, Live who currently run East Sussex’s Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (STAR). Previously, he has worked in both the charitable sector and local authority offering advice and support to families with children with special educational needs and disabilities. Gareth has been a Labour Party member for many years, joining the party while living in Tower Hamlets, East London before moving with his family to Bexhill in 2016.
